Accommodations are perfect for a wilderness outpost. Nothing fancy, but clean and everything works. Dean and Tammy are excellent hosts. The fishing ... Wow! This is a world-class smallmouth bass fishery. Seriously, if you're any kind of bad fisherman at all, you can catch 100/day. And they're nice fish too, 16-18" regularly, occasionally a 19". Plus, as a bonus, musky and lake trout are there in good numbers. If you target them you'll do well; and if you don't target them you'll still catch them incidentally to smallmouth fishing. A+ in my book.

The Hosts, Dean and Tammy were welcoming and run a great fly-in fishing camp. We cannot say enough good things about them or the location. The cabins are accommodating and clean with room for several if you have a group. The boats provided are well maintained and Rowan Lake is well stocked with endless fishing possibilities. Highly recommend.
